It Takes A Village!
CANSTRUCTION VANCOUVER is back for 2018!
Vancouver’s most unique art exhibition and team-building event, Canstruction Vancouver is back, FREE to the public!
In support of the Greater Vancouver Food Bank, Canstruction Vancouver is an annual competition where teams of Architects, Engineers, Designers, Graphic Designers and Students from across the Greater Vancouver area get together to compete in CANstructing fantastic, huge sculptures made entirely out of nutritious canned food. This year’s theme is “It Takes a Village.” Can you imagine ten 10’ x 10’ x 8’ tall sculptures made out of canned food? We CAN!
Each team has only 12 hours to build their structure before voting begins! After the winners are declared the structures are displayed as art exhibits until end of day November 11. 100% of the proceeds of CANstruction Vancouver goes towards the GVFB to support more than 27,000 people with food assistance each and every week.
